This filter is installed in the return line of the hydraulic system to filter out metal particles caused by component wear, as well as rubber debris from worn seals, ensuring that the oil returning to the tank remains clean and facilitates the re-circulation of oil in the system.

The filter is available in three types: glass fiber, paper, and mesh. The glass fiber type provides better filtration performance and higher precision compared to the paper type. However, both glass fiber and paper filter elements are difficult to clean once clogged and must be replaced.

The filter is equipped with a differential pressure indicator. When the filter element becomes clogged due to contamination and the pressure differential between the inlet and outlet reaches 0.35 MPa, a signal is triggered, indicating that the filter element should be cleaned or replaced.

The filter element is made of glass fiber, which offers advantages such as high filtration accuracy, large oil flow capacity, low initial pressure loss, and high contamination retention capacity. Its filtration accuracy is rated based on absolute filtration precision, with a filtration ratio of β3, β5, β10, β20 ≥ 200, and filtration efficiency n ≥ 99.5%, in accordance with ISO standards.
